Inspired by Melissa McCracken, I organized a painting/drawing session with music at my place. The task was simple: listen to one artists album and paint whatever the music was letting us see. We chose "Music to play in the dark" by the English band "Coil" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJO8gYFj4iM). Because of space-limitation, we painted on the floor, sipping some whine or whisky, enjoying the creative moment and the good company. We painted for 2-3 hours and some also managed to do more than one painting. Here I post some of the results (some prefer not to share their work), among others by Lucia Paiz, Bonnie Wall, Noelie Maurel, Yanhao Feng and Maggie Sefton. Congratulations to all the painters for their work! It was a really nice experience, and because of the positive feedback, there will probably be more "music and colors" sessions in the future!
